Problem Note 63442: The RANK and SORT procedures fail in an encrypted environment when the output data set is written to a database
PROC RANK and PROC SORT can fail in an encrypted environment when you use a database, such as Apache Hadoop, and the output data set is written to the database.
The procedure might generate an error message similar to the following:
ERROR: Execute error: Error while processing statement.
If the output data set is written to the Work library, the error does not occur.
